Start-ups must meet the below criteria:

  • Registered Legal Entity
  • Less than five employees
  • Operating for less than two years
  • Not exhibited at IET Events previously

Visa letters

If you require a letter of invitation to assist with your visa application, you must register for the conference and make payment before requesting one.

You can request a letter of invitation by completing our online Letter of Invitation Request for VISA  Application form.

Please note that you cannot complete the form without your registration confirmation number.

Your letter of invitation will be sent the Friday following your request.

Grants available for national and international travel

The IET Travel Awards are for members travelling to conferences and events as part of their professional development. We can award grants of up to £1,500 for international travel and up to £600 for national travel.
